Utilize debug mode when aligning your Document's merge fields with fields coming from your 3rd party integration. Debug mode will save merge data for 24 hours so you and your team can analyze what is being sent to merge and determine if you are using the correct merge field codes or realign the fields to fit your needs more.
Set up Debug Mode
Step 1. Select the Settings tab for your Document or Data Route.
Step 2: At the bottom of your settings, place Status into Test Mode, and save to finalize.
Step 3: Test your Document by submitting another merge from your 3rd party integration.
Step 4: From the Overview tab of your Document or Data Route, scroll to the Recent Merges section and select the View Data button. Here, you can view all data that came through with the merge.
Tip: Click on the field name to see the merge field codes to use.
Note: If you don't wish to place your document in Test mode, alternatively, you can turn on the 'Save Data to Re-Merge/Download Later' option under Settings > Advanced Settings.
