Formstack Safe Harbor

Our Safe Harbor Notice sets forth the privacy principles followed by Formstack in connection with the transfer and protection of "personal information" received from the European Union ("EU") or Switzerland. For paying Formstack Account holders in Countries outlined below, Formstack offers a Safe Harbor agreement option which you can opt into through your Admin Account settings.

Eligibility to enter into a data processing agreement will depend on two criteria points:

1. You must be under an active/paid Account

2. Reside in an eligible country:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & United Kingdom

Safe Harbor Opt-in

To review or opt into Safe Harbor, you can access the data agreement through your Profile Settings. To do so, you must be logged in as the primary Admin and Owner of the Account. Next, navigate to your Profile icon in the upper-right and then select "Your Profile."

Scroll to the bottom of your Profile page until you see the "Data Processing Agreement" option.  From here you can click the "Opt-in" button to review the agreement and proceed with the opt-in.  You will have the option to review and exit before accepting the agreement.

From the review page, you can read the data agreement and download a copy for your records. Once you have thoroughly read the agreement, you will want to check the option to agree to these terms and submit your application. Upon submission, you will receive an in-app confirmation message and you will be registered in our PactSafe management system.

 

 

Opting-out of Safe Harbor

If for any reason you need to opt-out of Safe Harbor, this can be done while logged in as the primary Admin and Owner of the Formstack Account.  Next, navigate to the Profile icon in the upper-right and then select "My Profile" and scroll to the "Data Processing Agreement" section.  Click the "Contact Us" link to submit your request and we will follow-up with you on the request and/or send a confirmation of the agreement to withdraw.
