Microsoft OneDrive makes it easy to access your files and photos on any device. Integrating OneDrive with your Formstack form will allow file uploads to automatically be sent to your OneDrive account from a form submission. The OneDrive integration is available on Starter plans and higher.
To integrate OneDrive with your form, go to the Settings > Integrations > Documents and click to add OneDrive.
Next, click "Log in to Microsoft OneDrive." Insert your OneDrive email address and password. Additionally, you will have to grant permission for Formstack to access OneDrive.
Once the integration is added, you can select the folder and file path where you want the file uploads to be delivered. Only one folder can be selected per form. You can also add a file prefix and add an email address to send a notice to upon failure of the integration, but those fields are both optional. We recommend adding a Unique File Prefix using a field like email or Unique ID. This way files with the same name will not overwrite each other.
- You must have available storage in your Microsoft OneDrive account in order for the files to be successfully transferred.
- In general, you are able to upload a maximum of 25MB of data per form and a maximum of 20 file upload fields to OneDrive from a form.
- You can bypass our storage limit when you integrate OneDrive because the files are stored in that app, not Formstack, with an access link still available in each submission. The file transfer limit of 25MB will still apply when uploading a file to OneDrive.
