Have you ever made a mistake editing a form and wished you could turn back time? Well, now you can and you don't need to build a time machine first!
If you make a mistake and want to undo what you just did just click "Undo" in the top left corner of the builder and the action will be undone. Change your mind? Click the "Redo" button to reverse course.
Let's say you are working on a section of your form and move a bunch of fields around and decided you wanted to return back to how the form looked when you first loaded the form builder for that building session. This is now possible with our new Form Versioning tool.
Click the History tab in the bottom left corner of the builder and you'll see a list of your current activity below "Previous Activity Log". Click on any of the logged actions to return to the state of the form when the action happened. Click "Started a new builder session" to return to how the form looked when you first opened the form that day.
Remember, this only logs the steps made during the current builder session. Logging out, closing the builder window, or refreshing the builder window will end the builder session and traveling through your form edits will no longer be available. Once you start editing your form you'll see activity begin to log again.
Restore a Deleted Field
As always, you can still restore a deleted field as long as it has been deleted within the last 7 days. If it's past 7 days the fields are gone for good.
Restoring a deleted field from a previous builder session just takes a few clicks. Open the History tab, click "Previous Activity Log" and click "Restore this field" under the field you'd like to put back on your form.
If you want to restore a field you just deleted use the Undo/Redo buttons described above.
