Integrate your Formstack Documents with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage your leads, contacts, and opportunities from a single interface. Add Formstack Sign to this duo to send a contact for e-signature. Here's how!
Set up Document
Step 1: Set up a template, like an NDA agreement, within a Word document. Use merge fields like {$Name}, {$Address}, {$Product} to insert important information.
Include the signature tag(s): [sig|req|signer1] to collect eSignatures.
Step 2: Upload the template to Formstack Documents. Select New Document, enter a name, and choose "I have a document I would like to use" from the dialogue box.
NOTE: You may also use a template or build from scratch right within the Formstack Documents app. See here for more information.
Step 3: From the Settings tab, modify options as needed. For example, create a PDF version of the agreement and include the contact in the file name.
Step 4: Pick how you want it delivered. Collect the eSignatures by choosing Formstack Sign as the delivery.
After you authenticate your Formstack Sign account, define the signers using the merge fields. If these merge fields are not in the document, select <
Connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM
After you have updated your delivery to Formstack Sign, set up the process inside Zapier to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Step 1: Inside Zapier, click the New Zap button.
Step 2: For the trigger, choose Microsoft Dynamics CRM as the service and New Contact as the trigger.
Step 3: Authenticate your Microsoft Dynamics CRM account and follow the test contact steps to review and continue.
Step 4: Choose Formstack Documents as the Service of the Zap and Create Document Merge as the Action.
Step 5: Authenticate your Formstack Documents account and choose the created NDA template. Zapier will populate the list of all merge fields in the document.
Step 6: Pick the corresponding fields from Microsoft Dynamics CRM into the merge fields of your document.
Step 7: Once fields are matched, save your new Zap to turn on the integration.
Moving forward, submissions through your Microsoft Dynamics CRM will send data over to your Formstack Document and then an emailed eSignature will be sent to your contact.
