Get a pulse on individual workflows from the Dashboard tab! Here you have an at-a-glance view of key workflow metrics and can dial into information even further by toggling on and off metrics and customizing time frames to take action.
To get started view your dashboard by:
- Hover over a workflow listed in the Workflow tab and select “Dashboard.” Or
- Select the Dashboard tab while in a workflow’s builder or settings tab.
Date range
Look at workflow data from today’s date, past week, month, or a custom date range. The information within the dashboard will automatically adjust to the specified range.
Manage metrics
View the workflow’s status metrics:
- Completed: All steps of a workflow are done.
- Failed: Workflows with errors.
- In progress: Workflows that have been started.
- Assigned tasks: In-progress workflows on steps with assigned persons.
- Canceled: In-progress workflows manually deleted from Actions.
Hide or show the metrics with the toggle feature to view all or some workflows within the set time range.
Workflow Instances List
- View all instances for a workflow in one table or narrow by searching the assignee email in the search bar.
- Review and take action based on the metrics that are toggled on and set a date range.
- Take bulk actions by selecting two or more workflows to send reminders to assignees or cancel the workflow.
Workflow Start Date
Sort workflows from most recent to oldest and vice versa from the Workflow Start Date column. This column is particularly helpful to view trends on when persons begin a workflow ie: a campaign launch.
Status
Similarly to the Metrics Table, view all statuses of the workflow instances: in progress, completed, canceled, or failed.
Quickly identify why a status is under “Failed” by hovering over the question mark to view error details:
Current Step
The Current Step column gives a clear visual of what step a workflow instance is on. This is helpful when matching status and steps to view possible trends ie: digital signing bottlenecks.
Colors are associated with each step to indicate progress:
- Green: completed step
- Purple: in progress step
- Red: failed step
- Grey: step not started
Process Time
See the length of time a workflow has been worked on. This compiles the time of all workflow steps.
Assigned Tasks
The Assigned Tasks status identifies a form or sign participant assigned to the current in progress step —see more on assigning steps here!
Actions
Not only view insights from the dashboard but take on administrative tasks here too! From the Actions column, select the ellipsis (...) to choose an action:
- Cancel Workflow: Delete workflows in any open status. This will move the status from In Progress to Canceled.
- Send Reminder: Email individuals (Sign participants and optionally assigned persons) on a current in progress step. If multiple workflows are not completed, use the bulk feature by selecting two or more workflows and clicking “Send Reminder.” A notification email will be sent out.
- Retry Workflow: If the status is labeled “Failed,” and you have performed troubleshooting, select Retry to rerun the instance as an admin. This will re-execute the failed step. Data will be re-extracted from previous steps, and an external API call will be made again.
- Copy Step Link: Copy the link of an in progress step to take action on.
