Easily reinstate custom objects if they do not appear within your Formstack Settings dropdown list. Here’s how:
Solution 1: Manually Re-add Object API in Settings
Step 1: Within your Salesforce instance, select the Formstack Setting tab
Step 2: Click Add a New Object and type the Object API.
Step 3: Select Save to capture the custom object.
Step 4: Navigate to the Formstack Mappings tab and select + New Mapping.
When filling out the mapping, the new custom object will appear under the Salesforce Object dropdown to select:
If the API name you entered is incorrect, the Mapping will not work.
Solution 2: Add Custom Objects via Setup
Step 1: Within your Salesforce instance, select Setup.
Step 2: From the Quick Find Search Bar, type and select Custom Settings.
Step 3: Select [Manage] Webmerge Supported Object from the available options.
Step 4: Click New to create your custom object.
Step 5: Type in the object’s Name and API Name and click Save to capture.
Once saved, the object is available in your Formstack Mappings tab. If the API name entered is incorrect, the mapping will not work.
