Keep your Forms current with the latest Salesforce API version. The Salesforce API v65.0, launched as part of the Salesforce Winter’26 release, allows you to access the most up-to-date Salesforce technologies

What are some other benefits of upgrading your form’s API version?

1. More product stability. The API version allows you to: 
   • Safely leverage SFDC's latest features
   • Support for industry cloud standard objects
2. Removes the need for creating custom objects and fields to solve use cases.

Update your form’s API version

While all new forms will be created on API v65.0, update preexisting forms to the latest API version. 

Step 1: From the Forms for Salesforce dashboard, select Duplicate from your specific form to make a copy:

NOTE: Duplicated forms are automatically indicated with “- Copy” in the title. 

Step 2: Then select Edit on the duplicated form and choose Form Settings:

NOTE: In Form Settings, a notification outlines the upgrade, access to Salesforce’s latest objects, and potential impact to your form’s existing objects & fields. As a result, It is recommended to create duplicates of your forms prior to upgrading existing forms to API v65.0.    

Step 3: Select Upgrade API Version from the notification box or scroll down to select the action button in the Form Salesforce API Version field: 

Step 4: From the pop-up, please review the possible impact warning and select Upgrade to update your form to the latest Salesforce API. 

Once you have selected Upgrade, the banner will no longer appear and the API version will reflect the latest version upgrade: 

Step 5: Review the duplicated form for changes. Salesforce API updates might impact existing objects and fields on your form. 

Step 6: After review, update the preexisting form to the latest API and remove the duplicate by selecting Delete on the individual form in the Formstack Dashboard and confirm:
