A test merge, or a document generated with Formstack Documents that contain a watermark, varies by plan type.
To get a quick snapshot of your account status/limit, visit the Billing & Usage Status page on your admin center or from the product home page.
Note: Only admins or standard users with billing permissions will be able to view the usage and billing page on the admin center.
How do test merges get generated?

When using a Document Template in Test Mode
- When generating a document with the Test URL
- Downloading a document from Test tab
- Preview functionality from Docs for Salesforce managed package
- After an account reaches the merge limit all documents are generated as Test Merge
- A test merge can also be generated using the Docs API
What should I do if I need more test merges?
We recommend upgrading your plan type to the next level so that the number of live and test merges can be increased on your account or getting in touch with our sales team to discuss next steps.
