Step 3: Add Fields Using Overlay Templates
Prepare the document: Begin by preparing the document to add fields.
Use Overlay Templates: Instead of manually dragging and dropping fields onto the document, select the Overlay Templates button.
Apply the Template: Browse through the available templates to find the one you want to apply. Click the three dot menu, select “Apply” and Save. The template will automatically place the fields in the correct locations.
The green “ Template successfully applied” banner will appear to show that the template has been applied. Continue to configure the remaining steps of the document as usual.
By using field overlay templates within Formstack Sign, you can efficiently add fields to your documents with minimal effort, ensuring that all necessary areas are covered without the need for manual adjustments. This feature saves time and helps you stay organized when processing documents from Applied Epic.
