Formstack Version Deprecation Policy
FORMSTACK SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES END OF LIFE POLICY
Formstack products reach the end of their product life cycle for a number of reasons, including product obsolescence, new software release, market demands, and technology innovation. The purpose of the global End of Life Policy is to allow our customers to manage various End of Life transitions.
Subscription Services End of Life
This Formstack Subscription Services End of Life (EOL) Policy (“Policy”) applies to Subscription Services (as defined in the Formstack Software Services Agreement) products, as applicable, and defines the support available during the product life cycle. The term “product” applies to a product line as a whole or a Subscription Services offering as a whole.
This Policy supersedes all previous versions of this policy. Formstack also reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time and will post updates along with relevant dates, notifications, and other helpful EOL information. As Subscription Services, all customers subscribe to the same current feature and functionality set supported by Formstack.
Subscription Services EOL Milestone Dates
GENERALLY AVAILABLE means that the Subscription Services are generally available to its customers. The date that the Subscription Services becomes generally available to the public is the General Availability date.
END OF ENGINEERING (EOE) means the date Formstack will cease engineering related to the Subscription Services products and will cease providing technical as well as engineering support. If possible, Formstack may elect to provide technical support with existing service releases, bug fixes, workarounds, or patches for critical bugs reported. When a product reaches the EOE, it will, however, no longer be actively supported by engineering. Technical support, if possible, will not include nor will it create any new bug fixes or feature additions or requests for Subscription Services that are past EOE.
END OF LIFE (EOL) means the date when customers can no longer access or use a Subscription Services product. Notwithstanding anything in your existing agreements with Formstack to the contrary, customers shall be responsible for retrieving any data stored in the SaaS offering before the EOL date.
Subscription Services EOL Notification Dates
- Formstack will aim to provide an EOL notification for each relevant EOL Milestone as soon as possible.
- No new customers may subscribe to the Subscription Services product following the date of the EOE notification.
FORMSTACK VERSION DEPRECATION POLICY
This Formstack Version Deprecation Policy (“Policy”) applies to various versions of our Subscription Services (as defined in the Formstack Software Services Agreement) products, as applicable, and defines the support available during the version life cycle. Deprecation could occur due to enhanced features, various technical updates, or technological advancements that make a previous version either obsolete or unsustainable. In this Policy, the term “product” applies to a specific Subscription Services product version.
This Policy supersedes all previous versions of this policy. Formstack also reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time and will post updates along with relevant dates, notifications, and other helpful Version Deprecation information. As Subscription Services, Formstack is looking to ensure that all customers subscribe to the same and current feature and functionality set supported by Formstack.
