Formstack Forms live form has been audited and is aligned with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines. This ensures the product supports a wide range of users, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.
Updated VPAT Available
An updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is now available on the Formstack Trust Center. This document outlines our accessibility status across WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 criteria.
Most standards are fully supported, but there are a few noted exceptions to review to make sure your forms are WCAG compliant:
-
Progress Bar Contrast: Accessibility depends on the color contrast between the progress bar and its background. When customizing these elements, we recommend a contrast ratio of at least 3:1.
-
The progress bar can be edited in the Theme Editor using the Additional Components > Primary and Secondary colors.
-
-
Error Icon (Section 508 Exception): The error icon for the name field does not include alternative text. This is the Partially Support option in this section. However, the corresponding error message above the field provides the necessary guidance.
